A NEW BEGINNING ON THE HORIZON....2009 here we come.

Today, is the penultimate day of 2008 and while driving to the cinema with my husband, David, he remembered a phrase that his late dad "Frank Clarkson" would recite. "Tomorrow you will meet a man that has as many noses on his face, as there are days in the year". It is an interesting thought which I share with you.

The film we went to see was "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", an interesting concept of how someone is born old and grows younger physically, but his life has many challenges to go through, just as we do. It is a beautiful love story of how in our lives we meet the right people at precisely the right moment. Brad Pitt plays an exceptional character and I enjoyed his heart-warming performance. Brad portrayed Benjamin with heart and dignity. I recommend this film as thought-provoking and inspiring.

I apologise for my tardiness in placing this article. The Christmas season is a busy time and this year was a very special one as it was our first Christmas in our new home. It was very satisfying to celebrate with friends and family and not have to be moving home as we had done over the past two Christmases. On Sunday 21st December we opened our home to our friends. I baked my first ever glazed ham with a wonderful result. There were prawns, oysters and drinks in abundance. Two dozen friends, from past and present, joined us together with neighbours. The afternoon was wonderful and we were showered with gifts, laughter and fun - how lucky are we to be blessed to live in such a great country in this day and age?

I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was very kind to you.

My Christmas was great and more than I could have hoped for. My Dad and I cooked the turkey dinner , Mum and I went to church in the morning and I took Holy Communion for the very first time. We all received nice gifts but the best was a frame for my drawing of “White Wolf”. He is my spirit guide and he now hangs in pride of place in my Reiki Room. With 2009 about to begin, my goal is to continue to grow my practice for Reiki/Seichem healing and continue to have the life that I love.

With only a day to go in 2008, it is now time to decide your goals and desires. Write them down and place your list in a special place. You can continue to manifest your dreams into reality…….

A VERY HAPPY 2009 and I hope you are findingurwings……Roz.
